What to Wear to Centennial Convention

Wednesday, July 10

Daytime: Dress according to your travel and touring plans.

Evening: For the Welcome Reception, casual clothing, including letters, is great.


Thursday, July 11

Daytime: For Plenary, you’ll need a white dress or a skirt and top (no beige or off-white). Please make sure any straps are at least one inch (i.e., two fingers) wide. If your dress is strapless, you must wear a sweater or jacket. You can wear shoes of any color. Hosiery is not required, but official Phi Sig jewelry is! Do not forget a white sweater or jacket, the hotel meeting rooms can get chilly.

Evening: Feel free to dress to sight-see before dinner in a casual sundress/dress/pants outfit.

 

Friday, July 12

Morning: Put on your workout wear to participate in the 5K and Zumbathon, or dress casually to just shop at the Women’s Expo! For those participating in 5k and Zumbathon, a shirt is included in the $30 registration fee.

Afternoon: For the afternoon programming, dress is business casual. No shorts, jeans, or workout wear please. Remember a sweater or jacket in case the meeting room is cold.

Evening: For the Foundation dinner, dress is cocktail attire.

 

Saturday, July 13

Daytime: For the memorial service through the luncheon at Hunter College, you will want to wear your daytime finest – day dresses, skirt and tops, suit or pants suits are appropriate.

Evening: For Supreme Council installation and the Centennial Sphinx Banquet, formal attire, short or long, is appropriate.

 

Sunday, July 14
