About Our Sister Josette

Josette George Kaufman served as Phi Sigma Sigma's International President from 1998-2002, and went on to serve the National Panhellenic Conference as Phi Sigma Sigma's NPC Delegate from 2002 until her sudden death in March 2013. At that time, she was a member of the NPC Executive Committee as Budget and Finance Chairman, a position she held since 2011.

"Given Josette's passion for interfraternal service, Phi Sigma Sigma set out to find an interfraternal project that would honor Josette's many contributions to Greek life and her enthusiasm for working with young Greek leaders," said Alicia Scott, International President of Phi Sigma Sigma.
