Special Feature: Haiti

A SPECIAL PHI SIG REPORT:

HOPE FOR HAITI,
      HEARTS FROM PHI SIG

2 women, 2 moving stories about the power of sisterhood

WE DIDN'T SET OUT TO PREPARE IN-DEPTH REPORTS ABOUT HAITI.
But after speaking with two incredible sisters - Kikie Seide of our Zeta Rho Chapter at Fitchburg State College and Laila Shad of Epsilon Delta Chapter at Chapman University - and hearing their powerful, inspirational words, it was clear
these were stories that needed to be told. Together.

News reports are nothing compared to the eyewitness accounts of real-life sisters who've been there: who miraculously survived January's 7.0 quake or who are so intimately connected to the families and children there that, despite the devastation, they cannot wait to return to help these people in need.
Sisterhood IS more than a mere word, more than a sorority slogan. If you ever needed proof of that, look no further than these two young women we are so proud to call "sisters."
