Make a Difference Day
Each fall, Phi Sigma Sigma sisters all over the country participate in Make a Difference Day. Created by USA Weekend Magazine, Make a Difference Day is a national event, designed to help others.To celebrate this Day, sisters have participated in events such as park clean ups, volunteering at children's hospitals, and helping feed the homeless.
It only takes one person to make a difference, but we have a whole sisterhood. In fact, the National Make a Difference Day Award was presented to Phi Sigma Sigma in 1999, in recognition of our commitment to volunteer service and community involvement.

Philanthropic Recruitment
A philanthropic recruitment event is an excellent way to get to know potential new members and provides the perfect opportunity for prospective members to experience what Phi Sigma Sigma represents. Working together on a service project helps members discuss Phi Sigma Sigma's commitment to service, while educating the prospective members about our philanthropic endeavors, and fosters a sense of community by involving college women in community service.
